With technology’s coming of age, panoramic photography has added some spice and diversity to simple panoramic images. Panoramic photography holds many meanings and there is no single definition to explain how a panoramic photo should look like. But the most common one is a form of photography which captures wide-angle photos. For example, photos of bridges and mountains. Traditional panoramic photos are defined by a large area captured by the camera. The photos are usually short in length but have a long width.
But with the introduction of state-of-the-art image and design software, other methods of panoramic photography have, and are still emerging. One of the unique branches of panoramic photography today is 360-degree panoramic photography. With the aid of technology, professional photographers can now take a 360-degree panoramic photo of various landscapes.
360-degree panoramic images are defined by the spherical shape it has. Professional photographers stitch various photos of the panorama together using software like One-Shot. What is basically contained in the 360-degree sphere is an image of the entire area surrounding the camera being placed into a single image. Or if the photographer has a bigger budget, he or she can opt for a rotating line camera like Panoscan which allows the capture of the entire 360-degree panoramic images, and thus, saving the time needed to do tedious image stitching.
These type of panorama photos are unique and allows professional photographers to capture beautiful ‘spheres’ of various landscapes. Whether it is in a park, paddy field, beside the river or by the beach, you can be sure that each 360-degree panorama photo will amaze you with its distinct beauty. Sometimes, professional photographers even spend 24hours to shoot beautiful photograph for their panoramas. The result will be a ‘sphere’ that is half day, half night and make the image altogether much more stunning.
In this article, we present to you a collection of 35 beautiful panoramic photos which will surely amaze you with its uniqueness and variety.
