With Valentine’s Day drawing near, many of the florists and flower shop started to stock up on a large variety of roses, in different sizes and colors. Among the many different types of flowers, roses have been the one that is most written of in poetry, stories and songs. Being one of the most popular and well-liked flower, the rose is seen as an emblem for beauty, love, passion, romance and in some cases loyalty. In fact different colors of roses each have their own significant meaning, the most common and popular being red roses symbolizes love and romance, after it are pink roses, different shades of pink symbolizes different meaning with ranges from gratitude to admiration. Next in line is yellow and white roses, yellow roses means friendship where as white roses symbolizes purity, innocence and unity. Therefore, one might need to do some research before presenting roses to another if you want to avoid any misunderstanding.
Besides making great gifts with great meanings, roses are also very inspiring subject in photography.
